Mono TextBox is a handy set of ASP.NET textbox-like controls specialized for the input of specific type values (like dates, decimal numbers, etc.). Mono TextBox is a handy set of ASP.NET textbox-like controls specialized for the input of specific type values (like dates, decimal numbers, etc.). Currently it includes DateTextBox, TimeTextBox, DateTimeTextBox, IntegerTextBox, DecimalTextbox and regular (string) TextBox. You can even create your own textbox adjusted for the input of some other specific type by deriving from the BaseTextBox. All textbox controls are fully functional in VS.NET / Borland Delphi for .NET design-time, client-side javascripts are designed for both IE and Netscape.Features: - Provides the specific type Value property instead of the plain Text property - Strong client-side validation ensures that input is properly formatted which eliminates server-side conversion errors - Values that depend on local settings (like dates and decimals) are formatted with the help of Culture property - Empty user input can be get/set through the ValueIsNothing property, because the empty string converted to a value type (like TimeSpan structure in TimeTextBox) would result in default instance (a TimeSpan.Zero for TimeSpan) - Date-picking client-side dialog window (formatted with Culture property) in DateTextBox and DateTimeTextBox - Additional increment/decrement buttons in the IntegerTextBox control - DataBaseValue property and ToSqlString method ease the creation of database queries from the user-entered values - Localizable client-side error messages
